Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using AllyShield, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

Service Description

AllyShield is a web accessibility scanning platform that helps you identify and fix accessibility issues on your websites. Our service analyzes web pages for WCAG 2.1 compliance and provides detailed reports with actionable recommendations.

Account Registration & Security

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and password. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.

Subscription Plans & Billing

All subscription plans are billed in EUR (Euros). Subscriptions renew automatically on a monthly or annual basis as selected at the time of subscription. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all plans. If you upgrade or downgrade your plan, we will prorate charges based on your billing cycle.

Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to: • Scan websites you do not own or have explicit permission to scan • Abuse API rate limits or attempt to bypass usage restrictions • Resell or redistribute AllyShield services without an Agency or Enterprise plan • Use our service for illegal or unauthorized purposes • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems • Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers • Use automated means to access the service in violation of API terms

Intellectual Property

AllyShield and all related intellectual property, including our platform, tools, reports, and documentation, are owned by AllyShield Ltd. You retain ownership of the scan data you provide and the insights you generate. You may not reproduce, distribute, or transmit any content without our written permission.

Data Processing

Your use of AllyShield is governed by our Privacy Policy. We process your data in accordance with GDPR and other applicable data protection regulations. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand our practices regarding the collection and use of your personal information.

Service Level Agreement

We strive to maintain a 99.9% uptime target for our services. Scheduled maintenance windows are announced in advance via email and on our status page. We are not liable for any downtime due to maintenance, technical issues, or circumstances beyond our control. SLA details are available to Enterprise customers.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AllyShield shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so these limitations may not apply to you.

Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time with written notice. We may immediately suspend your account for violations of these terms without advance notice. Upon termination, your right to use AllyShield will cease immediately. You may request deletion of your account data in compliance with GDPR.

Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will provide at least 30 days notice of significant changes via email. Your continued use of AllyShield after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Dispute Resolution

In the event of any dispute, the parties agree to first attempt resolution through mediation. If mediation fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with applicable EU regulations and laws.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the European Union, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. All parties consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of EU courts.
